What is DP Manager's Hardware Inventory system?

The Hardware Inventory system is one of the four components of DP Manager. It is a CICS-based system that provides all aspects of hardware inventory tracking. With it you can keep track of all of the mainframe-related hardware in your organization. There are a number of different ways to search in order to find the hardware that you are looking for---by vendor, item, user, terminal id,  netname, location, and/or serial number. Other information within the hardware system includes Vendor information (id, contact names, numbers), maintenance contract information (days, hours, rates, etc.), and financial information related to your hardware (payment data, etc.). There are also batch reports that can be selected and sorted on various fields, and customizable reports using the included CICS ad hoc reporting system.
