What is new for MBC 2.4

Following are the maintenance items and new features in MBC 2.4

• Support for CTS 6.4
• Preserve BATCSTS DSN when resource DSN is not in RDO and is not opened at startup
  
• Add MBC/FA Options to OPTS output
• Prevent multiple QUIESCED messages after a retry
• Add Close validation before Release message (MBC/FA)
• Add override support for THREADS and OPNRTRY 
• New OPENRTRY opt to retry open when “File in use” IOERR(004,210) encountered
• Add retry support for OPEN In-Use IOERR(004,210)
• Prevent CLO DIS if those attributes are already set
• Improved handling for BATCSTS defined in shared CSD file
• Continue with OPE after an FAR* (Release) error
• MBCBRGRP REMITEM missing RESN/REST resulting in Orphans
• Log command change override for Shared Applid commands
• Corrected Status Tracking support for Shared Appl commands
• All MBC 2.3 maintenance included
