• A new SET parameter DEFINEONLY is available for RESTORE processing. When a SET DEFINEONLY statement is specified, RESTORE processing is changed in that VSAM files will be defined but not populated. When used with RESTORE NEWNAME processing, this provides a way to define a new set of VSAM files based on the contents of an ARCHIVEd file.

• This is the first release of FileArc that supports z/OS 2.5.
