Q:

How do you dynamically change the page orientation to portrait or landscape?

A:

Create a "setup module", a set of printer escape codes (PCL, Postscript, etc.) in an assembler module. If you only need to change the orientation, you may use one we provide in the product, HP2P for portrait or HP2L for landscape. Add this name to the destination definition on option 2 from the PQP main menu. "S"elect the printer and add this name for the parameter "Setup".

Any acceptable printer escape sequences can be used in the setup module. If you need to change other items such as fonts, margins, or lines per page, create a new setup module with these codes using the samples in your PQP library (HP2P, HP2L, etc.) as a model, assemble it and link into the PQP phase library.
