Q:

I have a preprinted form I need to use with my printer. How do my operators know when to change the form and what form to put on the printer?

A:

Power Queue for Printers (PQP) keeps track of the form currently loaded on the printer and only prints reports that match the form currently mounted, if one is specified. If PQP sees a report with a different form than the one on the printer, PQP waits to print until the correct form is loaded. The operator should issue the PQP MOUNT command to communicate to PQP that a new form is mounted. As soon as the MOUNT command is issued, PQP prints any reports matching the newly mounted form.
