MacKinney Batch to CICS puts you in control of your resources with all the tools needed to coordinate batch and CICS flow. <\/strong> With MacKinney Batch to CICS (MBC), you can quickly send commands from your batch jobs to your CICS regions to coordinate file access, dynamically enable or disable programs, transactions, and TDQs, launch transactions, send terminal messages, and more. <\/p>\r\n Manage Resources<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Manage Startup <\/strong>(requires Release 2. x)<\/p>\r\n Initiate Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Initiate CICS shutdown<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\r\n Communicate<\/strong><\/p>\r\n Environmental considerations:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n For z\/OS environments, MBC runs in CICS TS 1.3 and above. \r\nNote:<\/em><\/strong> MacKinney Batch to CICS was written to replace CICS\/CEMT from Batch. \r\nFor VSE, MBC runs in CICS TS 1.1.1 and above environment and requires either BSI's or CSI's TCP\/IP stack.
\r\nNote: For z\/OS environments, cross-system EXCI requires an SYSPLEX. For VSE CICS 2.3 environments, you can contact MacKinney Systems for alternatives.<\/p>\r\n
