Cobol Glossary

The Productivity Tool to Automate System Documentation

Cobol Glossary takes the guesswork out of conversions and maintenance. It produces system-wide cross-reference lists from your COBOL programs for data names, file names, COPY books, called subroutines, CICS commands, DL/I commands and more. It also includes a global scan facility to scan an entire library for up to 99 different character strings.

Cobol Glossary uses your COBOL programs as input (all programs can be processed in one run), so you know the documentation produced is accurate and up-to-date.

Input can be from ICCF, VSE library, SSERV output, CMS, CA Librarian, BIMEDIT library, IEBPTPCH output, or any Sequential file.

Up to 14 optional reports are listed. Each report can vary in size, from global to very limited, depending on the parameters you set.
