eSendIT 4.6 Release Notes

• You now have the option to send a TIF-formatted email message as part of  the "alternate" fax process.  Options include always sending an email and the fax, sending an email only if the primary fax number fails, sending both an email and a fax to the alternate number (if the primary fails), or sending an email if both the primary and alternate fax attempts fail.  Note that this function requires release 4.3 or higher of the CICS/Fax PC server  software.
• Release 4.3 of the CICS/Fax PC server can now initiate the ESIL transaction on CICS to return any processing (FAXPxxx) messages that have been generated since a CICS transaction last initiated a TCP/IP connection to the CICS/Fax server.  The standard CICS "listener" transaction (CSKL for z/OS, EZAL for z/VSE) is required for this function.
• This is the first version of eSendIT generated using Enterprise Cobol on z/OS and Cobol for VSE on z/VSE.
